1. Raid a friend's garage and find a (now illegal) disassembled baby crib with the drop-down sides.
2. Add a few drawer pulls to hang some photos/ stuff from...
3. Spray paint your favorite color (standing on end, it looks like a ladder).
4. Ladder photo display!
Welcome to the TrendyRN! God has blessed me with a wonderful husband and two daughters. I'm also a very proud NICU RN in a level III Regional Neonatal Unit. On the web, I'm know as "EmbroideryRN" and "TrendyRN" which describe me to a tee.... I love to create neat personalized gifts and home decor, because personalization makes everything look better!
My Dollar Tree Birthday Board!
1. Start with Dollar Tree Silver Platter and Spray Paint color of your choice...
2. Add Vinyl Lettering and One Hook in center. Leave screw end of hook extended out from back to screw into wall.
3. Make (or purchase) Tags with your loved ones birthdays. I went with an initial and retro looking date applied to the tags with vinyl. On the back, I wrote full names and birthdates. I also laminated them for a longer lasting effect, but that is not necessary. Hand-written tags would be beautiful, too!
4. Hang on wall and never miss a birthday again! Just move the one that has passed to the back of the stack!
5. If you're really nice... Scan the tags you made and save them as picture files. That way, if your loved ones want to make their own, all they have to do is print out the tags, cut, and hang!

My Dollar Tree Magnetic Recipe Board
Start with your favorite color spray paint and a silver dollar tree tray.
Add vinyl lettering; I made a couple of magnets with bottle caps and scrapbook paper for the front. Stabilize the paper inside the bottle cap with Elmer's Spray Glue from Dollar General... Then add two magnets to the back to secure onto fridge... Or display on easel!

Memories, Swirls, and Lifelines
Adding a little flair between wall hangings..... This selection adorns the hallway outside my youngest's room, featuring a framed poster of her "lifeline" ages birth to 9. Kid art is my favorite!
Personalized Tins and More!
Shhhh.... keep this a secret from my mother (Nana).... but she's gonna be quite surprised with a few new personalized gifts for her birthday, Wednesday!
New Christmas Card Holder!
As the weather gets colder, those Christmas cards start rolling in!
Add a little personalization to some simple frames and vases.... and a new Christmas card holder is completed and gifts are a cinch!
